This pill will make anything sour that you eat taste sweet, and lasts for two hours. Not the sweetness, the duration of the pill's effect. Another way to make sour foods more palatable is to not eat them. Yummy.

Cat called 911 to help ill owner, police say
"Police aren't sure how else to explain it, but when an officer walked into an apartment Thursday night to answer a 911 call, an orange-and-tan striped cat was lying by a telephone on the living room floor. The cat's owner, Gary Rosheisen, was on the ground near his bed having fallen out of his wheelchair."

I don't know about this. Not the calling the police thing, but owning a cat? Who does that? They're emotional takers, folks. And anyway, it sounds from the description like it was more likely to be a tiger.
